With the formation of Andhra Pradesh State on 1 November 1956, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was formed. Earlier, the commission was known as the Andhra Service Commission. Selection
Written Examination
The first stage of selection procedure is Written Examination. It consists of 2 papers and the questions asked will be of objective type. Interview Candidates attitude and personality will be assessed during interview by the interview panel members.
Document Verification
The candidates qualified in interview are then called for document verification. The documents uploaded on the online application form should match the original documents.
Exam Pattern
It consists of two papers. Each paper is Objective type carrying a total of 150 marks. The time duration for each paper is 90 minutes. Negative marking is given as penalty for wrong answers, but there will be no negative marking for not attempting the questions. The question papers will be given in 3 languages, English, Telugu, and Urdu.
